Gel Polish & Manicure Course — ABT Accredited If you've ever dreamed of turning your love of nails into a career, this is where it begins. Our ABT accredited Gel Polish & Manicure course is a full day of professional training that gives you everything you need to start offering treatments to real clients — and get insured to do so — straight away. No experience needed. Just bring your enthusiasm. What you'll learn: In up to 6 hours of theory and hands-on practical training, you'll cover everything from the foundations right through to running your own nail business: Salon skills, health & safety and sterilisation & hygiene Anatomy & physiology and contra-indications & contra-actions Client consultation, aftercare & advice Equipment, pricing and business basics Basic manicure Prepping nails for long-lasting gel manicures Gel polish application and removal What to expect on the day: You'll start with the theory and be assessed on your knowledge throughout the course. After practical demonstrations, you'll work on your model to complete a full gel manicure. You'll finish up with a final theory assessment and two case studies to complete at home — and then you're qualified. What to bring: All equipment is provided — just bring yourself and a model with bare fingernails and toenails. We'll keep you fuelled with snacks and hot and cold drinks, but feel free to bring a packed lunch, a bottle of water and a notebook. Prerequisites: None. This course is open to complete beginners — no experience or previous qualifications required. After payment is complete you will be contacted to arrange a convenient date for training.
